User Provisioning is the process of creating, updating and deleting user accounts during the lifecyle of the user in the organization. Traditional User Provisioning systems have used complex scripting approaches to enable user management.
This means that any changes to corporate policy, organizational structure like new departments or locations have often meant that scripts and detailed testing is required before they can be implemented. This limits the organizations ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions.
Activate enables adminstrators to quickly and easily view all 'metadata' associate with a specified Role from the users home server, exchange server through to the default groups and services the user will get in a single console and place. This prevents rules and data being stored in multiple places that is hard to identify and hard to manage.
